Neutrino oscillations have become a well established phenomenon in particle physics during the past years. Recently the last unknown neutrino mixing angle θ13 has been independently measured to be non-zero by experiments of two different concepts. Reactor neutrino experiments measure the angle θ13 independently of the additional oscillation parameter δCP and the neutrino mass hierarchy, while accelerator experiments measure combinations of these three parameters. From these distinct properties a possibility to determine δCP arises.
Exemplarily, the results of the Double Chooz reactor experiment and the T2K accelerator experiment are investigated. Special focus is set on the statistical concepts utilised in either analysis and on their compatibility. Furthermore, a statistical method for the combination of both experiment results is developed, focussing on a determination of the yet unknown oscillation parameter δCP.
