Sequences of Solutions in SU(4) Einstein-Yang-Mills-Dilaton Theory — •Abha Sood, Jutta Kunz, Marion Wirschins, and Burkhard Kleihaus — Fachbereich Physik, Universität Oldenburg, Postfach 2503, D-26111 Oldenburg, Germany
SU(4) Einstein-Yang-Mills-dilaton theory possesses sequences of static spherically symmetric neutral sphaleron solutions and neutral as well as charged black hole solutions. The solutions depend on the dilaton coupling constant γ and on the horizon. The solutions are labelled by the nodes (n1,n2,n3) of the three gauge field functions, u1, u2 and u3. The equations are symmetric under the interchange of u1 and u3. We here classify all solutions in sequences. To characterize these sequences of solutions we employ the running index n and the fixed indices i and j. The magnetically neutral sequences of solutions converge to magnetically charged limiting solutions, and the charged sequences of solutions converge to solutions with greater charge. The limiting solutions of the regular solutions are “extreme” solutions. The sequences (i,j,n) converge to charged SU(3)-like solutions, the sequences (i,n,j) converge to charged SU(2)timesSU(2)-like solutions, the sequences (n,i,n) and (n,n,i) converge to charged SU(2)-like solutions and the sequences (n,n,n) converge to Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton solutions.
