Combined Analysis of Spin-Dependent Structure Functions — •A. Tripet —

The Spin-Muon-Collaboration (SMC) has determined the spin-dependent structure function of the proton, g1p(x), and of the deuteron, g1d(x), in the kinematic range defined by 0.003 < x < 0.7 and 1.0 GeV2 < Q2 < 60 GeV2 . The data are analyzed for the first moments of g1p, g1n, and g1d at a fixed Q02 , including the results from all the other spin-structure-function experiments on the proton, neutron, or deuteron at CERN, DESY, and SLAC. In the combination the other experiments contribute for the most part in the range of 0.03 < x < 0.7 . Details of the analysis, treatment of errors, and combined results for the individual first moments and for the Bjorken sum rule will be presented.
