Scars of Invariant Manifolds in Interacting Few–Body Systems — •T. Papenbrock1, T.H. Seligman2, and H.A. Weidenmüller11Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik, Postfach 103980, 69029 Heidelberg — 2University of Mexico (UNAM), Mexico-City, Mexico

Systems of identical particles with rotational invariance have some low–dimensional subspaces of phase space where certain actions of the two symmetries cancel exactly. Such manifolds may support states of the total quantum system, that are not corresponding simply to scars of periodic orbits on this manifold, and thus constitute a novel extension of the concept of scars.
