First results of a valence photoemission study (using undulator or laser pulses) of laser-excited electrons from near the Fermi energy into an unoccupied C60 state will be presented for the one monolayer C60 adsorbed on Ni(110). Aspects of the laser pul s e/synchrotron pulse synchronization scheme will be discussed.
