Numerical studies of 2-leg Heisenberg ladders with the usual periodic and twisted boundary conditions are presented. We analyze the finite-size behavior of the energies of the systems and show static structure factors, excitation spectra and magnetization curves. In the twisted ladder we find a level crossing for finite systems and different strengths of the rung interaction.
