Doping dependence of pseudogaps and magnetic excitations in the 2D Hubbard Model — •C. Gröber, W. Hanke, and R. Preuss — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Am Hubland, D-97074 Würzburg
On the basis of Qunatum-Monte-Carlo simulations in connection with Maximum-Entropy techniques for the spectral weight A (k→,ω) and for the two-particle spin- and charge-response χs,c (q→,ω) we find (a) the QMC data for the Hubbard model reproduce both the momentum (dx2−y2–symmetry) and doping dependence of the pseudogap and (b) the dramactic doping dependence of the spin-response, which is sharp in both q→ (≈(π,π)) and ω in the underdoped regime but broad and structureless otherwise, unambiguously identifies remnants of the antiferromagnetic order as the driving mechanism behind the pseudogap and its evolution with doping.
