In April 1996 some 11 million events have been taken with the Crystal Barrel detector at the antiproton ring LEAR at CERN. A silicon vertex detector surrounding the liquid hydrogen target, in combination with a special trigger, has allowed the accumulation of events containing K_S’s decaying into π⁺π⁻.

The present analysis has selected 5-meson final states of the type (K_SKπ)ππ with 2 or 4 charged particles. A description of the reconstruction and Monte Carlo simulations underline the good quality of the data. First results concerning pseudoscalar mesons decaying into (KKπ) will be presented.
