Data acquisition for the GDH-Experiment at MAMI — •M. Lang1 and GDH- and A2 21Institut für Kernphysik, Universität Mainz, Becherweg 45, 55099 Mainz — 2

The data acquisition system for the GDH-experiment at MAMI is presented. The experimental setup consists of 4 different components in addition to the Glasgow-Mainz tagger and a separate polarimeter system for the determination of the beam polarization. A minimum readout rate of 200 Hz is required by the experiment. This is provided by the data acquisition software ACQU, developed in Glasgow, on a VME-PP604-CPU. The system offers high flexibility in adaptation to various measurement electronics. The basic structure and performance of the acquisition system will be described.
