Recently, we identified 8 multiplets in 3269Ge37,
resulting from the coupling of the odd neutron with the core
3268Ge36 [1]. The aim of this work was to extend
complete spectroscopy to the isotone 3067Zn37 in
order to study deviations of the weaking coupling model on
the basis of the multiplet structure as function of the proton
number. Two experiments using the reaction
64Ni(α,nγ)67Zn at the Eα=14−18 MeV
were performed at the Cologne FN Tandem Accelerator. The OSIRIS-
Cube-spectrometer provided the coincidence data to extend the
level scheme. The linear polarization was measured with a
EUROBALL-Cluster-detector, while the angular distributions were
determined simultaneously with two encapsulated HPGe-detectors.
In combination with an excitation function, spin and parity
could be established for a multitude of levels. The comparison
of 67Zn with 69Ge shows the independence of their
respective level structure from the proton configuration.
This is the first hint, that in 67Zn as well as in
69Ge, the multiplet structure is still influenced by
proton excitations of the core.
