Measurement of γ + pK0 + Σ+ with SAPHIR at ELSA — •S. Goers — Physikalisches Institut d. Univ. Bonn, D-53115 Bonn

The SAPHIR detector is a magnetic spectrometer at the 3.5 GeV electron accelerator ELSA in Bonn. SAPHIR is designed to measure multiparticle final states. One major goal is the photoproduction of associated strangeness.
In the talk we will present data of the reaction γ + pK0 + Σ+ from threshold up to photon energies of 1.6 GeV. This includes the method of analysis, total as well as differential cross sections and the transverse Σ+-polarization.
Finally the results of different model calculations (chiral perturbation theory, chiral calculation, isobar model) will be compared to our data.
