A gauge invariant, relativistic model for the photoproduction of mesons on nuclei — •Wolfram Peters, Marcus Post, Horst Lenske, and Ulrich Mosel — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Giessen
We present a relativistic and gauge invariant model for the photoproduction of mesons on nuclei. The production operator is derived from a phenomenological Lagrangian density and treated in the framework of DWIA. The model presented is completely relativistic and does not employ any local approximations. As an application we will discuss the coherent photoproduction of pions, etas and vector mesons.
