0-2.5 GeV Nucleon–Nucleon Elastic Scattering Analyses Using Potential Models — •H. Labes, L. Jäde, and H.V. von Geramb — Theoretische Kernphysik, Universität Hamburg
Elastic scattering observables for np 0–1.6 GeV and pp 0–2.5 GeV, together with their phase shift analysis by Arndt et al. [1], are used in exploratory potential model studies. The boson exchange models OSBEP and Bonn–B as well as partial wave quantum inversion potentials, are used as reference interactions in optical model calculations. Real dispersive and imaginary absorptive potentials are fitted for each partial wave. These model calculations are initiating a unified description which comprises nucleon–nucleon and meson–nucleon interactions. Several known resonances are lurking in the fitted energy dependent optical potentials. Excellent fits can be obtained.
