The spectrometer ANKE at COSY Jülich has been equipped with large-area MWPCs for track measurements. Due to spatial restrictions a compact, newly developed on-board read-out system with highly integrated electronics is used which is based on the RAL-118 analog chip and the RAL-111 digital chip. Properties of the chambers, the setup of the electronics and test results will be reported.
