We investigated the 2H(p→,pp)n breakup reaction at
Ep = 19 MeV by measuring the cross-section and
analyzing-power angular distributions of the
(np) Final-State-Interaction (FSI).
The observables d3 σ/d Ω3 d Ω4 d S
and Ay were determined at 12 production angles between
16deg and 59deg in FSI geometry.
This situation is believed to be relatively insensitive to the Coulomb
interaction and may therefore be compared to 2H(n,nn)p
calculations.
Here the comparison is made with results of Faddeev calculations with four NN
potentials (CD-Bonn, Nijmegen I and Nijmegen II, Argonne 18) in
a small interval around the exact FSI point. For all
calculations the Tucson-Melbourne Three-Body Force (TM3BF) was also
taken into account.
All forces agree very well among each other and with the data; however
after including the TM3BF only the Argonne 18 potential provides a
good description of the data.
So we can say that the influence of the TM3BF is very small at most.
