BOREXINO one experiment of the forthcoming generation of solar neutrino experiments is dedicated to the measurement of Be neutrinos in the low energy range of the solar neutrino spectrum [1]. The monoenergetic Be neutrinos may be the key to the longstanding solar neutrino puzzle and give hints to non standard neutrino properties. The detector is designed to measure the Be neutrinos which interact by neutrino-electron scattering in a target of 100t liquid scintillator. As the expected event rate is in the order of 50 events/day predicted by standard solar models the detector has to be shielded from natural and cosmogenic radioactivity [2]. The radiopurity of the detector components was shown to be in the requested range for BOREXINO by a prototype detector and ultra trace analysis.
