Two-color high-harmonic generation — •C. Figueira de Morisson Faria, M. Dörr, W. Becker, and W. Sandner — Max-Born-Institut, Rudower Chaussee 6, 12474 Berlin
We investigate high-harmonic generation for a two-color driving field, for various frequencies and intensities. Using time-frequency analysis, we compare the results from a fully time-dependent numerical solution of the Schrödinger equation with the return times predicted by the classical rescattering two-step model [1,2]. This allows shaping of the harmonic spectrum, depending on the parameters of the driving field, for low-integer frequency ratios.
