Correlation of TOF-Mass-Spectrum and Transformation Mechanism of a Chemical Reaction — •Victor Wei-Keh WU — Victor Basic Research Laboratory e. V., Kurt-Schumacher-Str. 12, D-33615 Bielefeld, Germany (http://www.uni-bielefeld.de/ fkure)/Visiting: SKLMRD, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS., 116023 Dalian, P.R.China
Not only forwards, sidewards or backwards scattering of product AB of A+BC→AB+C can be qualitatively estimated from scattering angle resolved TOF-Mass/-Spectrum comparing the position of centroid (ABC), but also the transformation mechanism of A+BC and how far either the part of Stripping or Migration, even with the participation of electron jump is involved. From such point of view, there should not be so much migration effect by H or D or T in K + HBr/DBr/TBr → KBr + H/D/T as in Ba + HBr → BaBr + H expected, where K + HBr → KBr + H should show the greatest migration phenomenon than with DBr and TBr. The quantitative fractions of Stripping, Migration and electron jump can be well determined via simulation with QCT (Quasi Classical Trajectory) method.
