Photoproduction of the Λ (1520) at SAPHIR Bonn — •Bert Wiegers — Physikalisches Institut der Universitaet Bonn, Nussallee 12, D-53115 Bonn

With the magnetic spectrometer SAPHIR at ELSA (University of Bonn) the photoproduction of multi particle final states is investigated in the energyrange up to 3.3 GeV. This poster adresses to the exclusive reaction: γ p → pK⁺K⁻. The Λ (1520) is seen in the invariant mass of pK⁻ while in the invariant mass of K⁺K⁻ the φ -meson clearly shows up. First results of the crossection and the angular distribution of the Λ (1520) in the photonenergy range between 1.4 and 1.9 GeV are presented.
