Hadronization of a quark gluon plasma in a microscopic quark dynamics. — •S. Scherer, M. Hofmann, M. Bleicher, L. Neise, H. Stöcker, and W. Greiner — Institut für Theoretische Physik, J. W. Goethe–Universität, Frankfurt am Main
A classical microscopic toy model of the deconfinement phase transition based on the color potential between nonrelativistic quarks is studied. The model exhibits a first order phase transition with TC ≈ 130 MeV. Dissociation and dynamics of charmonium states (J/Ψ) are investigated. Heavy flavoured mesons are proposed to be a sensitive probe of the thermodynamical properties of hot and dense matter. Final hadron yields and spectra are presented.
