Neutrino induced transmutation of r-process nuclei in Supernovae — •E. Kolbe1, F. Barazza1, K. Langanke2, and F.-K. Thielemann11Departement für Physik und Astronomie der Universität Basel — 2Aarhus University, Institute of Physics and Astronomy

Within the Continuum Random Phase Approximation and simpler models we calculated cross sections for inelastic neutrino scattering on nuclei above the particle emission threshold. Subsequent decays were described using a statistical model code.

These results were applied to Astrophysics to estimate the effect of the so called “ν”-nucleosynthesis. Furthermore a network calculation was performed to investigate the effects of neutrino induced spallation of r-process nuclei in Supernovae.

Finally we present improved calculations (including p-shell correlations) of semileptonic weak reactions in 12C and compare our results with the data of the KARMEN- and LSND-experiment.
