Dichroic Effects in the multi-electron emission — •Jamal Berakdar — Max-Planck-Institut f"ur Mikrostrukturphysik, Weinberg 2, D-06210 Halle/S.
The simultaneous emission of two electrons from an isotropic target following
the absorption of a polarized VUV photon reveals characteristic dependence on
the helicity
of the absorbed photon. The dynamical and geometrical aspects
of this phenomenon
will be discussed
and illustrated using recent experimental and theoretical findings.
In addition, the polarized one-photon double emission case is contrasted
to the electron-impact ionization of circularly laser-pumped atoms.
