Integral equation methods have been successfull in studying thermodynamic properties of strongly coupled classical plasmas. However, their application to quantum plasmas is difficult. We present results based on the Morita formalism which allows to write the quantum N–particle Slater sum in terms of an effective quantum potential. In this frame, we obtain the Ornstein–Zernicke equation which is decoupled with an HNC approximation. For the quantum potential, we use the Kelbg potential as well as improved expressions. The results for the internal energy show good agreement with Quantum Monte Carlo results up to coupling parameters Γ∼ 5. Furthermore, we investigate the effect of Bridge graphs on the pair distribution functions and present comparisons with Molecular Dynamics calculations.
