Relations among higher order QCD corrections beyond Leading Order — •V. Ravindran, J. Blümlein, and W.L. van Neerven — DESY-Zeuthen,Platanenallee 6,D-15738 Zeuthen
The importance of various symmetries among splitting functions and coefficient functions is discussed. The scale symmetry among others in hard processes is known to be a guiding tool to understand the underlying dynamics. We show that how various symmetries are broken in higher order QCD corrections. We study various invariance principles by constructing appropriate physical observables. We also discuss the Drell-Levy-Yan relation between space like and time like observables. The relations coming from conformal symmetry are also presented.
