Discrete vs. continuous turbulent cascade models — •J. Schmiegel, B. Jouault, and M. Greiner — Max-Planck-Institut für Physik komplexer Systeme, Dresden
Turbulent cascade models serve to describe various aspects of the intermittent fluctuations occuring in fully developed turbulence. For their discrete and continous versions we present the full analytical solution of the multivariate n-point statistics and discuss its implications for testable observables like multiplier and wavelet correlations.
