We consider the renormalization group analysis to one loop order of a model J for ferromagnets with anisotropic noise. This system is driven out of equilibrium by the dynamical anisotropy in the noise, i.e. by constraining its diffusive dynamics to be at different temperatures T|| and T⊥ in d|| and d⊥-dimensional subspaces, respectively. We find that the noise anisotropy is a relevant perturbation and that the static and dynamical critical behaviour is described by an hitherto unidentified universality class, which does not seem to be accessible by perturbational means, at least for d||≥ 1 [1].
