The coupling between the superconducting planes of
YBa2Cu3O7−δ /
PrBa2Cu3O7−δ superlattices has been measured by c-axis
transport
measurements. Series of mesa structures have been patterned on multilayers
with
different periodicities. These results show that only by changing the
thickness
of the superconducting YBa2Cu3O7−δ layers from four to eight
unit cells
it is possible to modify the coupling mechanism from tunneling of
quasi-particles up to Josephson Effect.
