Collective Mode Contributions to Raman Scattering — •F. Venturini1, U. Michelucci1, T. P. Devereaux2, and A. P. Kampf1 — 1Theoretische Physik III, Institut für Physik, Universität Augsburg, D-86135 Augsburg — 2Department of Physics, The George Washington University, 20052 Washington, D.C.
In this work we explore the two spin-flip contributions to the Raman response. In particular we examine colective modes used to explain the 41 meV peak observed in neutron scattering in high-Tc superconductors at T<Tc. The symmetry dependence of the modes will be discussed.
