The CRESST Experiment — •M. Sisti — Max-Planck-Institut f"ur Physik

The CRESST experiment is a dark matter search using high mass high resolution cryogenic detectors. In the first phase four calorimeters consisting of a 262 g sapphire absorber with a tungsten thermometer and SQUID read-out are used. These detectors are operated at about 12 mK and have a energy resolution between 150 eV and 200 eV at 1.5 keV. The present set-up, detectors, and performance are presented.
