Control of high-harmonic generation using additional fields — •C. F. de Morisson Faria and J. M. Rost — Max Planck Institut für Physik komplexer Systeme, Nöthnizer Str. 38, 01187 Dresden

We investigate high-harmonic generation with fields of several frequencies and pulse shapes, superposed to a strong driving field, with the main objective of tayloring the harmonic spectra. We will report on results calculated at the single-atom-response level using the time-dependent Schrödinger equation, and interpreted by means of the classical rescattering model [1].
