Studies of fermionic four-wave mixing — •Patrik Öhberg, Anna Sanpera, Pierre Villain, Luis Santos und Maciej Lewenstein — Institut für Theoretische Physik der Universität Hannover, Appelstr. 2, 30167 Hannover
The recent successful experiments on trapping and cooling fermions below the Fermi temperature has opened up new possibilities to study degenerate Fermi gases and their properties. We investigate the possibility of having fermionic four-wave mixing in these Fermi gases. The analogy between the experimentally realised bosonic four-wave mixing and the fermionic situation is studied where the presence of Bragg scattering is emphasized.
