Relativistic Effective Interaction in Nuclear Matter and Finite Systems — •E. Schiller and H. Müther — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Tübingen, Auf der Morgenstelle 14, 72076 Tübingen
Using a projection technique in Dirac Brueckner Hartree Fock calculations one is able to analyse the relativistic nucleon-nucleon interaction, the G-Matrix. A cornerstone in this analysis is to split the G-Matrix in two parts, the bare nucleon-nucleon interaction, for which the structure is known, and a residual part. This avoids almost all ambiguities of the projection technique and allows to describe the G-Matrix in terms of an effective meson exchange model. The density dependence of the corresponding isoscalar and isovector coupling constants are discussed and applied to finite systems.
