We have searched for a correlation between the underground muon trigger rate seen by the AMANDA detecor and seasonal temperature variations in the atmosphere. A 10% effect was observed using the data collected during 1997, covering 225 days. The temperature coefficient αT was found to be 0.86+-0.05, compatible with the predicted value.
