35Cl and 14N NMR investigations on single crystals of Tetramethylammonium Cadmium Chloride (CH3)4NCdCl3 (TMCC) are performed to get more information about structural changes near the phase transitions. In combination with NQR measurements which are only selective to changes in the electronic structure, the orientation selective NMR measurement enable the study of the formation of ferroelastic domains.
