Dynamical properties of a crosslinked polymer melt — •Henning Löwe, Kurt Broderix, Peter Müller, and Annette Zippelius — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Göttingen, 37073 Göttingen
Starting from a microscopic Rouse model the static shear viscosity and the intermediate incoherent scattering function of a randomly crosslinked polymer melt are investigated for different probability distributions of the crosslinks. Depending on this distribution the disorder average may be performed either by using the replica trick or an exact correspondence between the connectivity matrix of the polymer network and the resistances in a random resistor network. This correspondence also yields a scaling relation between the critical exponent of the viscosity and the resistance crossover exponent of a random resistor network.
