We perform microwave spectroscopy of a single quantum dot using a compact broadband spectrometer operating in the frequency range of 20 - 400 GHz. The quantum dot is realized in the two-dimensional electron gas of an AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructure, containing roughly 30 electrons. We probe the complex photo conductance of this dot by measuring amplitude and phase of the signal simultaneously.
