Photoemission intensities in CuO2 planes — •Christopher Dahnken, Robert Eder, and Werner Hanke — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Würzburg, Am Hubland, 97074 Würzburg, Germany
We present a theory for the intensities of the Zhang-Rice singlet derived bands as observed in angle resolved photoemission experiments on the undoped CuO2 plane. Under the assumption that the outgoing electron wave function is a plane wave we discuss the detailed dependence of the photoemission intensity on x-ray energy and polarization as well as momentum transfer.
