Spin Echo experiments in solid 3He — •E. Nazaretski, K. Taubenreuther, L. Hristakos, H. Götz und G. Eska — Physikalisches Institut, Universität Bayreuth, D-95440 Bayreuth
Spin Echo experiments were performed on paramagnetic solid 3He at melting pressure. A variation of the magnetic field from 30mT to 200mT and temperatures from 8 to 60 mK gave spin polarization values up to 1.5%. Therefore the demagnetizing fields whic
h are mainly responsible for the formation of Multiple Spin Echo structures (MSE) were changing between 7 and 50mG. The MSE amplitudes were monitored after the application of π/2−τ−π/2 NMR pulse sequence. Spindynamics (T1, T2
, D0) was analysed in the frameworks of Hazegawa1 approach of MSE formation. Preliminary results indicate a deviation from theoretically expected behaviour at least at higher spin polarizations.
