The dipole force rectification in a light field formed by elliptically polarized waves

It is shown that the dipole force rectification is possible in a monochromatic laser field formed by elliptically polarized waves even at zero magnetic field. Optimal field parameters and a maximum of the rectified force are calculated for a number of optical transitions.
