Two-Coulomb-center Green‘s function and its application to study of processes at slow ion - molecular collisions — •Mikhailo Khoma, Vladimir Lazur, and Myroslav Karbovanets — Department of Theoretical Physics, Uzhgorod National University, Voloshin str. 32, Uzhgorod, 88000, Ukraine
Two-electron capture at slow ion-atomic and ion-molecular collisions is under consideration within the framework of asymptotic approach. Cross-section of one- and two-electron capture at separate final state is calculated using the method of strong-coupling channels. Different ways of two-electron transfer (straight and two-step) and their relative contribution to the total cross-section of process is investigated.
On the basis of three-terms recurrence relation analytic representation for one-electron Green‘s function of two-Coulomb-center potential with axial symmetry is derived. Obtained result is used for getting the analytic expression of matrix element for two-electron exchange interaction of highly charged ion with molecule ion and further for calculation the cross-section of one- and two-electron capture at slow ion-molecular collisions.
