For the measurement of the dynamic emission characteristic
of desorbed secondary ions from ion-solid-collisions a new
spectrometer has been developed. The spectrometer is based
on the successful COLTRIMS-system developed by the group of
Schmidt-Böcking in Frankfurt a.M.. Here, this system is
further developed and applied to energy and angle
resolved spectrometry of secondary ions desorbed in
ion-solid-collisions. The study of the dynamics provides a
direct access to the basic interaction mechanism of projectile
ions with solid surfaces. The measured data are transformed
from the detector system into the energy and angular differential
distribution of desorbed secondary ions in the source system.
First results will be presented and discussed.
