In [1] we report on multiconfigurational parametric fine and hyperfine structure calculations for the three even configurations (5d+6s)8 of Os i. For the present investigation we have chosen transitions in the wavelength region from 470 nm up to 508 nm which are combinations of levels out of these configurations with higher lying odd levels. The measurements were carried out on Os in its natural isotopic mixture and on an enriched 189Os isotope sample. We report the hyperfine structure (hfs) measurements of 39 Osmium lines and the isotope shift measurements of 16 lines by means of Doppler limited laser induced fluo-rescence spectroscopy and Doppler reduced intermodulated laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy in a hollow cathode using a tunable single-mode cw dye laser. The obtained values of the hyperfine interaction constants A and B together with the hfs data from [1] enabled us to determine the one-electron parameters of the hyperfine structure of the 5d and 6s electron following the effective operator formalism. The angular coefficients for the one-electron parameters were calculated using the CHFS-program [2] and taking into account the wave functions obtained by the fine structure analysis [1].
