Spectroscopy on a lasergenerated Aluminium-Argon-Plasma — •Jens Reiche, Michael Schultz-Johanning, and Manfred Kock — Callinstrasse 38, 30167 Hannover
Emission- and laserspectroscopic measurements on a lasergenerated plasma are presented. The object of investigation was an aluminium-argon-plasma, which was produced by focussing a pulsed Nd:YAG laser onto a rotating aluminium target.
The emitted light was detected by an ICCD-camera and recorded spatially, spectrally and temporally resolved. With the measured data the temporal evolution of the various excited levels and species in the plasma plume can be observed. The influence of different wavelengths, pulseenergies and backround-gas-pressures was analysed.
