A GOLDSTEIN Memorial: On The Possibility of Controlled Fusion Via COCKCROFT and WALTON by Neutron Induced Bombardment of Lithium with Protons — •Hermann M. M. Killesreiter — DPG/EPS-Member D-38678 Clausthal-Zellerfeld

There appeared recently a memorial about E. GOLDSTEIN by HEDENUS (Phys. Bl. 9/2000) with appreciation of his merits on the further development of Atomic Physics. This contribution will outline a direct connexion to the target experiments of COCKCROFT and WALTON published in 1932, and there will follow some considereations of the author for the possibility of a Fusion Reactor by neutron induced traget bombardment of lithium.
