Mermin-like expressions for the dynamical structure factor of a strongly coupled OCP and TCP are considered within the Zubarev approach of non-equilibrium physics taking into account conservation laws as boundary conditions. Instead of a free parameter describing a single relaxation time, microscopic expressions for the dynamical collision frequency in the long-wavelength limit are used. The resulting semi-phenomenological structure factor is applicable in the whole k−ω plane. Numerical results are compared with simulations of Zwicknagel et al..
