SS-433/W50 at TeV Energies — •Gavin Rowell — Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik, Saupfercheckweg 1, D-69117 Heidelberg
Observations by the HEGRA Cherenkov Telescope System of the microquasar/supernova remnant SS-433/W50 so far reveal no evidence for gamma-ray emission at TeV energies. Discussed are brief details of these observations and implications within the framework of a model prediction an appreciable TeV flux from the termination region of the SS-433 jet covered by these observations.
