The forward region is of particular importance at an e+e− linear collider for several reasons. Many interesting events have a high jet multiplicity so that there is a high chance to have at least one jet in this region and some processes like W-pair production peak at low angles. The reconstruction of Bhabha scattering in this region is of special importance, since it can be used to measure the luminosity spectrum after beamstrahlung with high precision. This talk introduces the possible setup of the charged particle tracking in the forward region at a TESLA detector with particular emphasis on the reconstruction algorithms.
