Sfermion and gluino pair production in polarized and unpolarized photon-photon collisions — •Stefan Berge, Michael Klasen, and Yoshiaki Umeda — II.Inst.f.Theor.Physik,Univ.Hamburg
We present predictions for the production of sfermion pairs and gluino pairs in polarized and unpolarized photon-photon collisions at future linear colliders. Both direct and resolved photon processes are included. The results are compared to the corresponding cross sections in electron-positron annihilation. While sfermions can be produced in all cases at the tree level, gluino production is induced only at the one-loop level in direct photoproduction and electron-positron annihilation. We find the photon-photon cross sections can be substantially larger than the annihilation cross sections.
