There have been a number of recent reports of the coexistence of superconductivity and magnetic order in the ruthenate-cuprates. In this contribution we report a magnetization study of RuSr2EuCu2O8. The magnetization data were obtained on a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer in the temperature range of 5 K to 300 K. The measurements were made on a sintered ceramic sample. We show that the low-field data can be interpreted in terms of antiferromagnetic order with a small ferromagnetic component (0.05 µB per Ru at 5 K). However, the high-field data imply a significant ferromagnetic component [1].
