Quantum coherence, fluctuations and dephasing of composite fermions at ν=1/2 — •Ady Stern1, B.N. Narozhny1, and I. Aleiner2 — 1Weizmann Institute — 2SUNY
In this talk I will discuss mesoscopic quantum fluctautions of two transport properties of the ν=1/2 state, acousto-electric current and Coulomb drag transresistivity. I will show that at low temperature sample to sample fluctuations far exceed the ensemble average and the corresponding fluctuations at B=0, for both quantities. Finally, I will discuss the dephasing length and time for composite fermions in the diffusive regime, for single and double layer systems.
